In Wednesday's non-league battle, the Woods Cross Wildcats (Woods Cross, UT) lacrosse squad the visiting Payson Lions (Payson, UT), by a count of 7-3.

Coming up next, the Wildcats clash with the Highland Rams (Salt Lake City, UT) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 17. Woods Cross will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record.

The Lions now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mountain Crest for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 18.
