North Carolina High School Softball - Perquimans bounces Albemarle School

The Perquimans Pirates routed the host Albemarle School Colts softball squad by a final score of 13-3 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Pirates (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA). The Gators go into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Greenbrier Christian Academy notched a victory over Southampton Academy (Courtland, VA), 9-0, in a non-league battle.

The Colts now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Manteo for a non-league battle on Monday, March 20. Albemarle School will confront a Redskins squad coming off a 13-3 league loss to Holmes (Edenton, NC). The Redskins record now stands at 2-5.
