In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Iowa Yellowjackets softball team scored a close 13-8 win over the Bell City Bruins.

Coming up next, the Yellowjackets battle the South Beauregard Knights (Longville, LA) in a 3A District 4 outing, on Thursday, March 16. Iowa will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Knights enter the outing with a 2-0 record after their 7-4 non-league win over Florien (Florien, LA).
