North Carolina High School Softball - Burns falls to Crest

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Crest Chargers softball team scored a nice 11-1 win over the Burns Bulldogs.

Coming up next, the Chargers encounter the Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) in a Big South 3A outing, on Thursday, March 16. Crest will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Greenwave enter the outing with a 1-3 record after their 20-4 non-league loss to Shelby (Shelby, NC).

The Bulldogs (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Patriots enter the non-league outing with a 2-4 record. In their last outing, Freedom was routed by Patton (Morganton, NC), 16-9, in a non-league outing.
