The South Johnston Trojans softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Cleveland Rams to 7 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, South Johnston improves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Trojans host C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC) to clash with the Golden Falcons in a Quad County 3A game on Friday, March 17. The Golden Falcons come into the game with a record of 3-2. C.B. Aycock won 15-3 in their recent league game against Hunt (Wilson, NC)

In their next game, the Rams clash with the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs (Raleigh, NC) in a Greater Neuse River 4A game, on Friday, March 17. Cleveland will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 2-4 record after their 19-0 league loss to Cleveland (Clayton, NC).
