Granite Falls Tigers (Granite Falls, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Orcas Island Vikings (Eastsound, WA), 13-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oak Harbor for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 17. Granite Falls will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Archbishop Murphy (Everett, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Orcas Island falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Quilcene (Quilcene, WA) to battle the Rangers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 18. The Rangers enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
