The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) and the host West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC), saw Mount Pleasant's softball squad nip West Cabarrus by a count of 10-4.

The Tigers now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host South Stanly for a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A match on Thursday, March 16. Mount Pleasant will face a Rowdy Rebel Bulls squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, West Cabarrus falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC) to face the Wonders in a Greater Metro 4A match on Thursday, March 16. The Wonders enter the match with a record of 1-5. A.L. Brown won 20-0 in their recent non-league match against Concord (Concord, NC)
