In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Northwestern Trojans softball team scored a close 5-1 win over the Ridge View Blazers.

Coming up next, the Trojans encounter the South Pointe Stallions (Rock Hill, SC) in a AAAA Region 3 outing, on Tuesday, March 21. Northwestern will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record.

The Blazers (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Lugoff-Elgin (Lugoff, SC). The Demons enter the AAAA Region 5 outing with a 0-4 record.
