In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Laverne Tigers baseball team scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Amber-Pocasset Panthers.
The Tigers (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Alva (Alva, OK). The Goldbugs go into the non-league game with a 6-5 record. In their last game, Alva tipped Drummond (Drummond, OK), 10-1, in a non-league game.
The Panthers (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Garber (Garber, OK). The Wolverines go into the non-league game with a 1-4 record.
