In Friday's non-league game, the host Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots baseball team scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Fayetteville Christian Warriors.
The Patriots (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Eastern Wayne (Goldsboro, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 0-6 record. In their last game, Eastern Wayne was edged by East Carteret (Beaufort, NC), 16-0, in a non-league game.
The Warriors (1-2) will now prepare for their game against O'Neal (Southern Pines, NC). The Falcons go into the NCISAA Sandhills game with a 0-1 record.
