California High School Baseball - El Cerrito sneaks past Berkeley

Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the El Cerrito Gauchos (El Cerrito, CA) and the host Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA), saw El Cerrito's baseball squad edge Berkeley by a margin of 7-6.

Coming up next, the Gauchos play the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins (Vallejo, CA) in a Tri-County - Rock battle, on Wednesday, March 27. El Cerrito will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host St. Mary's for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 21.
