The St. John Eagles baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host False River Gators to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The Eagles (13-4) will now prepare for their match against Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA). The Hornets go into the non-league match with a 5-11 record. In their last match, Catholic of Pointe Coupee was overwhelmed by West Feliciana (St. Francisville, LA), 11-2, in a non-league match.
The Gators (0-10) will now prepare for their match against Holden (Holden, LA). The Rockets go into the non-league match with a 7-5 record.
