In Friday's non-league outing, the Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN) basketball squad edged the visiting Ripley Tigers (Ripley, TN), by a count of 69-64.
The Tornadoes (21-11) will now prepare for their outing against Douglass (Memphis, TN). The Red Devils go into the non-league outing with a 34-0 record. In their last outing, Douglass held off Whites Creek (Whites Creek, TN), 67-39, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now hold a 25-7 record.
