North Dakota High School Basketball - Westhope/Newburg edges Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame]

The Westhope/Newburg Sioux (Westhope, ND) basketball nipped the visiting Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame] Bulldogs (Bowman, ND), 63-61 in Friday's non-league test.

The Sioux (25-2) will now prepare for their test against North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland] (Cando, ND). The Bearcats go into the non-league test with a 16-1 record. In their last test, North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland] got by Bishop Ryan (Minot, ND), 62-48, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 18-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Ryan for a non-league test on Saturday, March 16. Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame] will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 62-48 non-league loss to North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland] (Cando, ND). The Lions record now stands at 21-4.
