Cook Inlet Academy Eagles (Soldotna, AK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Shaktoolik Wolverines (Shaktoolik, AK), 61-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cook Inlet Academy upgrades its record to 24-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Lumen Christi (Anchorage, AK) to play the Archangels in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 16. The Archangels go into the bout with a record of 13-18. Lumen Christi won 41-31 in their recent non-league bout against Shishmaref (Shishmaref, AK)
