Alaska High School Basketball - Nenana can't hold off Metlakatla

The Metlakatla Chiefs basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Nenana Lynx to 35 in the Chiefs non-league victory on Friday.
The Chiefs now sport a 20-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tikigaq for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 16. Metlakatla will battle a Harpooners team coming off a 64-34 non-league win over Unalakleet (Unalakleet, AK). The Harpooners record now stands at 13-6.
The Lynx (19-6) will now prepare for their contest against Unalakleet (Unalakleet, AK). The Wolfpack come into the non-league contest with a 16-7 record. In their last contest, Unalakleet was nudged by Tikigaq (Point Hope, AK), 64-34, in a non-league contest.
