In Friday's non-league test, the host Carroll Patriots lacrosse squad scored a tight 13-11 victory over the Monroe Hornets.
The Patriots now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Oakwood for a Region 7 test on Monday, March 18. Carroll will face a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 13-5 league loss to Bexley (Columbus, OH). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 0-1.
In their next game, the Hornets face the Franklin Wildcats (Franklin, OH) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, March 19. Monroe will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 18-7 non-league win over Anderson (Cincinnati, OH).
