Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Belen Eagles (Belen, NM), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Hawks now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Silver for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 15. Centennial will face a Fighting Colts squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM). The Fighting Colts record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Belen falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Roswell (Roswell, NM) to face the Coyotes in a non-league match on Friday, March 15. The Coyotes go into the match with a record of 1-2. Roswell lost 13-1 in their recent non-league match against Silver (Silver City, NM)
