California High School Softball - Brea Olinda Valencia

Brea Olinda Wildcats (Brea, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Valencia Tigers (Placentia, CA), 9-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Katella for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 16. Brea Olinda will face a Knights squad coming off a 11-3 league loss to Segerstrom (Santa Ana, CA). The Knights record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, Valencia falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Mayfair (Lakewood, CA) to face the Monsoons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 16. The Monsoons enter the challenge with a record of 7-4. Mayfair won 13-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Paramount (Paramount, CA)
