The Buena Colts softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Fairfax Stampede to 0 in the Colts non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Buena moves its record to 3-9 on the year. The Colts travel to Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Thunder in a non-league game on Saturday, March 16. The Thunder come into the game with a record of 11-3. Desert Vista won 8-3 in their recent non-league game against Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ)

In their next game, the Stampede play the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 16. Fairfax will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record.
