With the triumph, Cascade improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Cougars travel to Marshfield (Coos Bay, OR) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 20. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 3-2. Marshfield lost 14-7 in their recent non-league game against Douglas (Winston, OR)

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Springfield Millers (Springfield, OR) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 18. Cottage Grove will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Millers come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 15-2 non-league loss to Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, OR).
