The Crescent Tigers routed the visiting Dixie Hornets softball squad by a final score of 12-0 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Tigers (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Seneca (Seneca, SC). The Bobcats go into the AAA Region 1 battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Seneca was routed by Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Hornets now possess a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Strom Thurmond for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 19. Dixie will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 13-0 league win over Batesburg-Leesville (Batesburg, SC). The Rebels record now stands at 8-0.
