Sedro-Woolley Cubs (Sedro-Woolley, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Edmonds-Woodway Warriors (Edmonds, WA), 25-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Cubs now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lynden for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Tuesday, April 9.

With the loss, Edmonds-Woodway falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Warriors host Everett (Everett, WA) to battle the Seagulls in a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Seagulls enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
