Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Scorpions now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Organ Mountain for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 15. Farmington will battle a Knights squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Knights record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Gadsden falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Cobre (Bayard, NM) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 15. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Cobre won 11-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Gadsden (Anthony, NM)
