The Forney Jackrabbits got by the visiting Robinson Rockets softball squad by a final score of 4-3 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Jackrabbits (20-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lancaster (Lancaster, TX). The Tigers go into the 5A Region II District 14 battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Lancaster was edged by Red Oak (Red Oak, TX), 15-0, in a league battle.

The Rockets now possess a 18-5 record. They play next when they travel to Connally for a 4A Region III District 23 battle on Tuesday, March 19. Robinson will meet a Cadets squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Krum (Krum, TX). The Cadets record now stands at 1-10.
