Hillcrest Huskies (Midvale, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Green Canyon Wolves (North Logan, UT), 16-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Corner Canyon for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 16. Hillcrest will battle a Chargers squad coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Teton (Driggs, ID). The Chargers record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Green Canyon falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wolves host Ridgeline (Millville, UT) to battle the Riverhawks in a 4A Region 11 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Riverhawks enter the challenge with a record of 7-0. Ridgeline won 19-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Murray (Murray, UT)
