The Herriman Mustangs softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host Taylorsville Warriors to 5 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Herriman improves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Corner Canyon (Draper, UT) to clash with the Chargers in a 6A Region 2 game on Tuesday, March 19. The Chargers come into the game with a record of 4-1. Corner Canyon lost 7-4 in their recent non-league game against Teton (Driggs, ID)

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the West Jordan Jaguars (West Jordan, UT) in a 5A Region 4 game, on Tuesday, March 19. Taylorsville will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Jaguars come into the game with a 3-4 record after their 6-4 non-league win over Murray (Murray, UT).
