James F. Byrnes Rebels (Duncan, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Stratford Knights (Goose Creek, SC), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Rebels now own a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greer for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 15. James F. Byrnes will battle a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 24-7 league loss to Wade Hampton (Greenville, SC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Stratford falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Gaffney (Gaffney, SC) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 16. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 5-4. Gaffney won 9-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Blue Ridge (Greer, SC)
