The Southern Alamance Patriots softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Jordan-Matthews Jets to 3 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Southern Alamance improves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Patriots travel to Williams (Burlington, NC) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Central 3A game on Tuesday, March 19. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 1-2. Williams won 10-8 in their recent non-league game against Grimsley (Greensboro, NC)

In their next game, the Jets clash with the Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers (Yanceyville, NC) in a Mid-Carolina 1A/2A game, on Tuesday, March 19. Jordan-Matthews will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Buccaneers come into the game with a 3-3 record after their 13-8 league win over Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC).
