The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the La Center Wildcats (La Center, WA) and the host Tenino Beavers (Tenino, WA), saw La Center's softball squad achieve victory over Tenino by a count of 17-4.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seton Catholic for a 1A Trico match on Tuesday, April 9.

With the loss, Tenino falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Beavers host Black Hills (Tumwater, WA) to face the Wolves in a non-league match on Monday, March 18. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 2-0. Black Hills won 12-2 in their recent non-league match against Capital (Olympia, WA)
