In Friday's league outing, the visiting Tipton Cardinals softball team scored a nice 18-2 win over the Smithton Tigers.
Coming up next, the Cardinals battle the Sweet Springs Greyhounds (Sweet Springs, MO) in a Class 1 District 7 outing, on Tuesday, March 19. Tipton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Greyhounds enter the outing with a 2-2 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Jasper (Jasper, MO).
