In Saturday's non-league bout, the Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM) baseball squad the visiting Albuquerque Bulldogs (Albuquerque, NM), by a tally of 4-2.
Next up, the Monarchs encounter the Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 18. Manzano will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Storm enter the bout with a 7-2 record after their 8-3 non-league win over Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM).
The Bulldogs (2-8) will now prepare for their bout against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears enter the non-league bout with a 5-2 record. In their last bout, La Cueva edged Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ), 13-3, in a non-league bout.
