The West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM) baseball got by the visiting Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM), 10-9 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Del Norte for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 18. West Mesa will clash with a Knights team coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM). The Knights record now stands at 1-7.
With the defeat, Moriarty drops to 2-3 on the year. The Pintos travel to Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 15. The Spartans go into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Bernalillo won 9-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Taos (Taos, NM)
