The Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Ospreys baseball team scored 17 runs and held the host St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions to 3 in the Ospreys non-league win on Saturday.
The Ospreys (4-1) will now prepare for their game against St. John's Catholic Prep (Buckeystown, MD). The Vikings go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, St. John's Catholic Prep was overwhelmed by Annapolis Area Christian (Severn, MD), 8-1, in a league game.
Next, the Lions play the Saint James Saints (Hagerstown, MD) in a Mid-Atlantic-MAC game, on Wednesday, April 2. St. Andrew's Episcopal will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
