The Peninsula Panthers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Canyon Cowboys to 0 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Panthers now have a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mira Costa for a Bay outing on Tuesday, March 18. Peninsula will play a Mustangs team coming off a 3-2 league win over Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 18-1.

With the loss, Canyon drops to 10-4 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Valencia (Valencia, CA) to play the Vikings in a Foothill outing on Tuesday, March 18. The Vikings come into the outing with a record of 13-4. Valencia won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA)
