California High School Volleyball - El Capitan over Oceanside

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host El Capitan Vaqueros volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Oceanside Pirates.
The Vaqueros (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA). The Monarchs come into the Grossmont Valley challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Monte Vista was beaten by Victory Christian Academy (Chula Vista, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Pirates meet the Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 15. Oceanside will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over School for Entrepreneurship & Technology (San Diego, CA).
