California High School Volleyball - El Dorado can't get by River Valley

March 15, 2025: Placerville, CA 95667

River Valley Falcons (Yuba City, CA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host El Dorado Cougars (Placerville, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, River Valley advances its record to 8-3 on the season. The Falcons host Oroville (Oroville, CA) to face the Tigers in a non-league test on Monday, March 17. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 3-0. Oroville won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Orland (Orland, CA)

The Cougars now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rosemont for a Sierra Valley Conference test on Thursday, March 20. El Dorado will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to McClatchy (Sacramento, CA). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-5.
