In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Portola Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the San Luis Obispo Tigers.
The Bulldogs (12-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Sage Hill (Newport Beach, CA). The Lightning enter the Pacific Coast challenge with a 4-7 record.
Next, the Tigers meet the Nipomo Titans (Nipomo, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 19. San Luis Obispo will attempt to upgrade on its 17-3 season record.
