The Taft Toreadors volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Santa Fe Chiefs to 0 in the Toreadors non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Toreadors now have a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Valley Christian for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 15. Taft will play a Defenders team coming off a 3-0 league win over Whittier Christian (La Habra, CA). The Defenders record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Santa Fe drops to 2-13 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA) to play the Eagles in a non-league outing on Saturday, March 15. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 4-6. Gabrielino lost 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Wilson (Los Angeles, CA)
