The Valley Christian Defenders topped the host Santa Fe Chiefs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Defenders face the Lynwood Knights (Lynwood, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 15. Valley Christian will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record. The Knights go into the game with a 5-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Norwalk (Norwalk, CA).

The Chiefs (2-12) will now prepare for their game against Taft (Woodland Hills, CA). The Toreadors go into the non-league game with a 8-5 record. In their last game, Taft gained a win over Birmingham (Lake Balboa, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
