The Hawks now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Cueva for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 17. Volcano Vista will clash with a Bears team coming off a 13-6 non-league loss to Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM). The Bears record now stands at 5-1.

With the defeat, St. Pius X drops to 1-6 on the year. The Sartans host Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 15. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Los Lunas lost 10-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM)
