Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the host Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA), 12-9 in a non-league battle.

With the victory, Cardinal Gibbons advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Crusaders host Middle Creek (Apex, NC) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 19. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 6-1. Middle Creek won 16-5 in their recent league battle against Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC)

The Barons now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paul VI for a Washington Catholic battle on Tuesday, March 18. Blue Ridge will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 9-4 league win over Collegiate (Richmond, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.
