The Carmel Greyhounds lacrosse squad scored 8 points and limited the visiting St. Xavier Tigers to 2 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Greyhounds now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Guerin Catholic for a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 19. Carmel will face a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 15-9 non-league win over South Bend Saint Joseph (South Bend, IN). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, St. Xavier falls to 1-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to Cathedral (Indianapolis, IN) to face the Fighting Irish in a non-league outing on Sunday, March 16. The Fighting Irish go into the outing with a record of 0-0.
