Kentucky High School Lacrosse - Lafayette nips Covington Catholic

March 15, 2025: Park Hills, KY 41011

The Lafayette Generals lacrosse squad scored 6 points and limited the host Covington Catholic Colonels to 5 in the Generals non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Generals now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Collins for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 18. Lafayette will clash with a Titans squad coming off a 12-4 non-league win over Scott County (Georgetown, KY). The Titans record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Covington Catholic falls to 2-2 on the year. The Colonels travel to Henry Clay (Lexington, KY) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 19. The Blue Devils go into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Henry Clay won 16-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Cooper (Union, KY)
