The Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Cardinal Newman Cardinals to 2 in the Landsharks non-league victory on Saturday.
The Landsharks now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Hanahan for a AAA Region 6 bout on Tuesday, March 18. Oceanside Collegiate Academy will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC). The Hawks record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Cardinal Newman moves to 4-4 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC) to encounter the Lancers in a non-league bout on Monday, March 17. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Legion Collegiate Academy won 9-0 in their recent non-league bout against Mountain View Prep (Spartanburg, SC)
