The Pope Greyhounds smashed the host Union Grove Wolverines soccer team by a tally of 5-0 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next, the Greyhounds face the Woodstock Wolverines (Woodstock, GA) in a 5A Area 6 game, on Thursday, March 20. Pope will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Wolverines come into the game with a 0-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Riverwood (Sandy Springs, GA).
The Wolverines (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Stockbridge (Stockbridge, GA). The Tigers come into the 5A Area 2 game with a 5-2 record.
