Arizona High School Softball - Coconino bounces Ironwood Ridge

March 15, 2025: Tucson, AZ 85742

The Coconino Panthers (Flagstaff, AZ) softball routed the host Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ), 8-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Panthers now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lee Williams for a 4A Grand Canyon outing on Tuesday, March 18. Coconino will encounter a Volunteers team coming off a 24-1 non-league win over Dysart (El Mirage, AZ). The Volunteers record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Ironwood Ridge moves to 7-4 on the season. The Nighthawks host Mica Mountain (Tucson, AZ) to encounter the Thunderbolts in a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 25. The Thunderbolts come into the outing with a record of 6-4.
