The Concord Pirates triumphed over the visiting McCrory Jaguars softball squad by a count of 17-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Pirates play the West Side Eagles (Greers Ferry, AR) in a 1A Region 2 challenge, on Monday, March 17. Concord will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record.
The Jaguars (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Carlisle (Carlisle, AR). The Bison enter the 2A Region 6 challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Carlisle overcame Lamar (Lamar, AR), 5-4, in a non-league challenge.
