Texas High School Softball - Dripping Springs edges East Central

March 15, 2025: Dripping Springs, TX 78620

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX) and the visiting East Central Hornets (San Antonio, TX), observed Dripping Springs's softball team get by East Central by a tally of 6-4.

The Tigers (15-5) will now prepare for their bout against Fredericksburg (Fredericksburg, TX). The Billies go into the non-league bout with a 10-8 record. In their last bout, Fredericksburg tipped Lake Travis (Austin, TX), 5-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Clemens Buffaloes (Schertz, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 27 bout, on Tuesday, March 18. East Central will attempt to advance on its 8-7 season record. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a 13-4 record after their 5-1 league loss to Johnson (Buda, TX).
