Next, the Billies meet the Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 17. Fredericksburg will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 15-5 record after their 6-4 non-league win over East Central (San Antonio, TX).

The Cavaliers (11-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Akins (Austin, TX). The Eagles go into the 6A Region IV District 26 challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, Akins was routed by Bowie (Austin, TX), 16-2, in a league challenge.
